Which cookies we use and why

Cookies Policy

Last updated: 1 May 2026

Eventium uses cookies and similar technologies to make the platform work, to understand how you use it, and to offer a personalized experience. This page explains which cookies we use and how to manage them.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit (language, session, preferences). Some are necessary for the site to work; others help us improve it.

2. Types of cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies: authenticated session, CSRF protection, basic preferences such as language (eventium_locale) and currency (eventium_currency). They do not require consent because they are essential for the service.

Preference cookies: remember settings like privacy mode (eventium_privacy) or an RRPP tracking channel. You can disable them without losing access to the service.

Analytics cookies: help us understand which pages are visited and detect errors. Data is processed in aggregated, anonymized form.

Third-party cookies: Stripe (payment processing), Meta Pixel (if the organizer has set one up). Each third party has its own policy you can review on their site.

3. Managing cookies

You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the service from working (you won't be able to sign in or complete purchases).

We will ask for your consent for non-essential cookies through a banner before activating them.

4. Cookies and privacy

Cookie use ties into the processing of personal data when it allows you to be identified. The rest of our Privacy Policy applies — including your rights of access, rectification, and deletion.
